How much does laundry cost in Abu Dhabi? A 2026 price guide
What laundry and dry cleaning actually cost in Abu Dhabi in 2026 — per-piece rates for shirts, kanduras, abayas, bedding, carpets and curtains, and what should be included for free.

Laundry pricing in Abu Dhabi is almost always per piece, and the spread between providers is wider than most people expect. Here's a realistic 2026 picture of what things should cost — using our own published rates as the reference.
Typical per-piece rates
- T-shirts and towels: wash from AED 1–3
- Gents' shirt, wash & press: from about AED 6
- Kandura, wash & press or dry clean: priced per item, with hand finishing
- Bed sheets: wash from AED 8–10, dry clean from AED 15–20
- Blankets: single from AED 25, double from AED 30
- Curtains: from AED 8/metre (wash) up to AED 30/metre (chiffon dry clean)
- Carpets: roughly AED 15–25 per square metre
What should be included in the price
A fair laundry price in Abu Dhabi should already include colour separation, basic stain pre-treatment, and pickup and delivery. If a provider adds a delivery fee or a 'small order' surcharge, your effective per-piece price can double on light loads.
At Dew Drops, pickup and delivery are free at all three branches — Al Shawamekh, Al Nahyan and Delma Street — with no minimum order, and every load is colour-separated as standard.
When per-kilo pricing makes sense
Per-kilo deals look cheap but usually exclude pressing and treat everything in one mixed load. Per-piece pricing costs slightly more for bulky loads but returns each garment washed appropriately and finished properly. For workwear, kanduras and anything you'd wear outside the house, per-piece is nearly always the better deal.
